High level quality, low cost - MF 5710 Awarded Farm World Powered Machine of the Year 2017

The MF 5710 has continued Massey Ferguson’s run of success at Farm world field days in Warragul.

With previous years being dominated by MF machines, this year’s winner was again no surprise to the judges or MF product specialists that market the MF 5710 to Australian and New Zealand famers.

“The competitively priced MF 5710 comes with a range of quality features and offers class leading performance and comfort - the production quality is evident throughout,” says Paul Morris, MF Utility Tractors Product Manager.

The global series has been available in Australia and New Zealand for some time with the 72/82 HP MF 4700 and 92/102HP MF5700 ROPS models combining quality construction with AGCO power engines, great hydraulic performance and exceptional rear lift capacity.

With the new MF5700 cabin option, now available the Global Series has become even more of a strong value proposition which was confirmed the MF 5710’s result at Farm World

“I think the Judges saw the cabin and were impressed - the operator environment in the new cabin has been designed with plenty of space, visibility and comfort,” says Paul.

“The flat floor, air suspension seat and tilt and reach adjustable steering column are all aimed at comfort, while the well finished cab trim is designed to be easily cleaned and maintained for those working in muddy conditions.”

“All round visibility is excellent; there are ample storage compartments and plenty of power supplies for implements and accessories. With air vents located all around the cabin roof, even with a passenger on the optional buddy seat, staying cool in summer will be a breeze,” says Paul.

A 98l/min hydraulic flow, integrated joystick and adjustable electro-hydraulic shuttle make the MF 5710 an ideal loader tractor for livestock and dairy farmers. The 40km/h transmission and gearshift mounted declutch button make transport from farmyard to paddock quick and easy.

For market garden applications, the 5700 series can be fitted with 50 inch rear tyres for huge ground clearance while the Super Creep option allows ground speeds as low 0.14km/h at full rpm. The MF 5700 also features electronic position and draft control with B-pillar mounted dials for easy and accurate operation combined with a massive 4500kg lift capacity
