Tractor Assembly Lines

With a maximum capacity of 100 tractors a day, all tractors from 85 to 400 hp are assembled on the same assembly line and following the order of the final customers.

Over 17,000 tractors have been produced on average each year since the plant opened in 1960. One tractor leaves the Beauvais factory each 5 minutes and 80% of the production are exported all around the world. Our teams are constantly attempting to ensure complete quality. Each tractor has a quality booked which details the complete manufacturing and testing process.

Technology Centre

Dedicate for our visitors everyday, the MF Beauvais Technology Centre gives a sample of the numerous innovations develloped by Massey-Harris-Ferguson along the years. From the first serial tractor equiped with the famous 3 point hydraulic linkage till the latest innovations offered by Massey Ferguson.

This friendly place includes a nice auditorium for videos end presentations, and a triple triangle shop which offers opportunity to buy souvenirs such as MF clothes, miniatures...

Engineering Department

There are more than 300 highly-trained staff at MF's Beauvais engineering centre. Their talent, skills and expertise are mobilised into a cohesive team wholly-focused on MF's uncompromising design values. Their ingenuity perpetuates Massey Ferguson's tradition of innovation, shaping tractors far into the future. Massey Ferguson engineers continue to push back the boundaries of possibility with award-winning designs.

All tractors assembled in Beauvais are designed, tested and validated by our engineers. We aim to deliver straightforward, dependable machines that our customers can just jump on and drive! It's a philosophy that distinguishes all MF equipment.

Factory 1

Transmissions Production

With until 130 transmissions a day, all Dyna4 and Dyna6 transmissions are developed, machined and assembled in Beauvais. Dyna4 and Dyna6 equip MF tractors from 85 to 280 HP, so all the MF 5600 – 6600 and 7600 series. All main gears and shaft are machined thanks to around 180 machines from the turning operation till the heat treatment and grinding operations.

17 000 tons of housings are machined and two assembly lines are dedicated for rear axles et gearboxes.

Quality is an obsession, operators and controllers are in charge to check the conformity of the production at each step.

Cab Assembly Lines

Opened on November 19th, 2013, for the 56th anniversary of the Massey Ferguson brand, the Beauvais 2 site represents the largest investment project for AGCO MF Beauvais in recent years. This new facility is a reference in terms of production, logistics flow, work stations, quality.

Dedicated to the cab assembly for tractors manufactured on the main site, 150 employees are in charge of the assembly in compliance with quality standards Massey Ferguson.

With a maximum capacity of 100 cabs per day, the MF cabs are available in three levels of specifications, essential - efficient and exclusive, to allow tractors to be tailored to individual customers' requirements and budgets.

This site also covers an international training center for the Massey Ferguson sales teams.

Beauvais Experience Factory Tours

Planning for the Future

Massey Ferguson’s plant at Beauvais is totally focussed on meeting the ever increasing demands of farmers the world over. It is the biggest AGCO-owned tractor manufacturing site in Europe and the largest of its kind in France.

This centre of excellence is now made of two sites with a global surface area of more than 30 ha and is located to the North of Paris. Those sites have been boosted by massive investments in build technologies, tooling, design and efficiency. Staff numbers and expertise have also grown to generate an output of up to 20,000 tractors a year.

In our ongoing pursuit of quality, massive investments have been made to robotise our painting workshop & computerise rolling brake benches.
